David Sebastian Morales is a multimedia artist based in New York City. His work surveys tensions that exist within the socio-political milieu of the United States through the use of multimedia installation as well as performance work. As a first generation Mexican-American and a native New Yorker, his work is heavily influenced by the community of immigrants from various racial, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds that he grew up around in Queens. In 2019 Morales received his BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design. His work aims at creating intersectional dialogue that questions the way technological advancements in media have influenced political discourse and exasperated tensions across the United States.
